My Month Of Mercy! Lc1:50

Here we are, quietly into a new month,
Many of us are still surprised to be counted among the privileged few who have to take part in the celebration.
Let’s just remember that a celebration isn’t for everyone; even the Lord isn’t obliged to invite us.
To get together, we have to be in agreement,
to take part in an event, we even need to have the same identity,
To come together, we have to be in agreement, to take part in an event, we even have to have the same identity.
So let’s not take it for granted that we’ll be honoured for this season, it’s a grace.
And we must be careful not to lose it.
That’s why we need to recognise God’s hand in our lives,
That’s why we must shout for joy and lift up the name of our Lord.
He has told us that if we believe, we will see the glory of God.
Thank you Lord, we are at your feet this morning not just to address you with our lips,
not to show off, but above all to implore your mercy.
What have we done to deserve so much love from you?
What have we given so that you are always so available to us?
What effort have we made to be at this level?
What price have we paid for your presence to be constantly manifest?
Beyond all that you have done in our lives, we are still ungrateful,
proud,
unjust.
We don’t have the decency to tell the world that our God is faithful,
We are ashamed to testify to your blessings in front of our friends,
We have the audacity to feel superior.
It’s also because we’re not broken, it’s because the flesh still responds to us.
And in a month like this, Yaweh gives us a golden opportunity to clear our names and assert our authority.
Let’s understand that this is the month of maturity, of domination.
It’s our third month of the year and the number 3,
it’s complementarity, it’s fullness,
it’s the trinity,
it’s totality.
*And the Father who is God recommends mercy to us at this time of year.
It’s not only he who must show mercy to us, but we too must show mercy to others.
We are too locked up in our mentalities and our grudges, and we fail to appreciate the opportunities that are right in front of us.
Without mercy, we cannot please the Lord,
Without love, our blessings are suspended.
When we speak of *mercy*, we are speaking of compassion,
love,
mercy,
tolerance,
indulgence,
kindness,
mercy and forgiveness.
The Bible tells us that without the shedding of blood
there can be no forgiveness.
Mercy is therefore a sacrifice to be made. We may not like it, but we must do it.
To savour the month, let’s not forget that our hearts must always be humble, we must really humble ourselves so that Jesus can grow at this time.
*Welcome to our month of mercy*.
Luke, 1:50 – And his mercy extends from age to age to those who fear him.
Love is not just for those with diplomas or children, it is available to everyone.
No matter our race, no matter our nationality,
no matter our age, no matter our ability, God’s love will never fail.
the Lord just needs us to know that it’s important to be grateful for this humanity,
He wants us to know and measure the value of the treasure we have in our hands as children of his heavenly kingdom.
Let us praise the Lord this day for his patience and goodness.
Lamentations, 3:22 – The Lord’s lovingkindnesses are not exhausted, His compassions are not at an end;
Be grateful to the Lord for his infinite mercy.
Every day is a testimony,

The Lord’s blessings are permanent,
it is present and it is favourable.
It is his nature, he cannot help but be himself.
Let us not think that the Lord has finished with us.
Nothing has dried up,
nothing has dried up,
On the contrary, everything is at its peak and ready to be distributed to those who know their God and act firmly.
Let’s just feel blessed.
And let us return the cheer offerings to our Jesus.
