My Month Of Mercy! Lc1:50

When we are shaken by sadness and suffering,
When oppression has weakened us and drained us of all hope, we must not give up, we must not be discouraged, we must stand firm and move forward.
Even when everything goes wrong, we must contemplate the magnificence of our God and raise our hands to him.
God’s help is perfect; he gives us peace and joy.
The Bible says that Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he became king.
He walked in all the ways of Asa his father and did not turn aside from them, doing what was right in the eyes of the Lord.
God listens to the cries of those who walk in obedience to his precepts.
When we are upright and seek to please God, we bring him joy and touch his heart.
God is quick to come to our aid when we cry out to him.
King Josephat will teach us an important lesson: the need to pray in the face of danger and to trust in God.
Despite the fact that Jehoshaphat had an army that could fight back, he did not rely on their own strength, but turned to God.
He fasted and prayed and sought the face of the Lord.
Many people rely on their own strength, but salvation comes from the Lord.
They try to find solutions first and it is only when they are overwhelmed that they run to God.
Who do we run to first when our lives are threatened?
If we want victory, we must allow God to take the first place in our battles, because his intervention is conditional on our absolute trust.
Matthew, 9:36 – When he saw the crowd, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were languishing and downcast, like sheep without a shepherd.
Ask the Lord to bring you appropriate help in this season.
The Lord doesn’t leave us alone, he is there to support us and give us the courage and strength we need.
When we give up and want to give up everything, the Lord comes to our aid, he stands as the comforter, the shepherd to lead us and comfort us.
