My Month Of Justice! Mal4:2

We go after what we can get away with.
For us to be clothed in righteousness, the Lord had to take away all our sins and offer himself as a perfect sacrifice to God, no other sacrifice could have been accepted.
The righteousness of God is the way God does things,
it’s the set of principles that make up righteousness, integrity and honesty.
When we find ourselves in a situation of injustice, we want to act on our own to ensure that our honour is not trampled underfoot.
It’s not up to us to take revenge.
That is no good. We must put our case in God’s hands. Let us pray to the Lord to act as the just judge that he is.
Sometimes we have this urge inside us to take justice into our own hands and do something to change the situation.
We think of strategies and techniques to restore our honour.
We want revenge.
It eats away at us from the inside, especially when we see that we are powerless against it.
We can’t go on like this, so we want to lay our request at the Lord’s feet. Give us justice Almighty Lord. You are a just judge.
You are our only avenger.
Your justice is in Heaven and it is divine.
And in it there is no injustice.
Soothe our hearts so that this affair does not leave us bitter.
We feel abused and deceived.
Lies are being told about us, stories are being told behind our backs.
We wanted to be fair and honest and this is what is being done to us.
We feel anger and incomprehension.
We can’t understand why anyone would want to hurt us and smear us.
Our reputation has been damaged and sullied.
All these events are emotionally overwhelming.
We need to rediscover the peace that you give us.
We no longer want to hold grudges in our hearts.
We don’t want to have this anger inside us any more.
We want to find our peace, your peace, the peace that you alone give and that surpasses all understanding.
Proverbs, 21:21 – He who pursues justice and goodness will find life, righteousness and glory.
Pray to continually pursue justice.
When we do what is right in God’s eyes,
When we do good,
When we do our utmost not to stray from what is positive,
our benefit is the light and grace that will accompany us.
