If God, who is the Source, the Admirable Counsellor, the Alpha and the Omega, tells us that he knows the plans he has for us, who are we to doubt him and not trust him?
Who are we to doubt him and not trust him?
A person who knows us before we were formed in our mothers’ wombs, a person who knows how many hairs we have…
The one who calls himself the great I am only expects us to trust him and we want to lift up our shoulders what are we even counting on?
Since we’ve been running to our friends to tell them our plans, tell us a little about who helped us get them off the ground?
Since we put our trust in our brothers, who has made us prosper?
Since our parents have known our secrets, what perfect provision have they made for our success and continued success?
If we start with the Lord and along the way ask him to wait for us at the crossroads, we are not trusting him.
If we take initiatives without consulting Yaweh and we come up against obstacles, we don’t necessarily expect the Lord to come to our rescue; we have decided to do what we can.
If we come to God with the big issues and juggle with the small ones, we are not always submitted to the Lord.
If we share with the Lord some of our concerns and cover up others, know that we have still not left control to the Lord.
If we think we are good managers or good accountants and want to rely on our knowledge, abilities and skills without trusting the Lord, let us know that we have failed beforehand.
It’s not what pleases us that we say to God, that’s all.
Everything is what is good and what is bad.
Everything is what is great and what is small…
Dad is the source, not the resource.
Let’s stop always trying to exploit him.
He’s the one who initiates projects,
he’s the one who steers them, he’s the one who makes them possible.
What is that business plan we have hidden away in our drawers and still haven’t presented to the Lord?
What is the programme we have planned without asking the Lord?
What trip are we planning without asking our Yaya for approval?
What purchase do we plan to make without seeking God’s advice?
What wedding do we plan without inviting the Lord into the middle?
Beloved, the Bible tells us that unless the Lord builds, he who builds builds in vain.
We have wasted too much time,
we still have gaps to fill in our affairs,
we’ve always wanted to make something of ourselves and we’ve fallen.
Do we want to start all over again?
Do we always want to be disappointed and betrayed?
Are we not tired of this eternal repetition?
If so, there’s only one thing to do,
draw closer to Jesus,
cling to his word and let him be our guide.
The Word of God tells us that “my sheep know my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”.
This means that as sheep, we are safe when our shepherd is present.
And it is the shepherd who ensures that we are not in danger.
So if we run away from our master, who will show us the way so that we don’t get lost?
Proverbs, 16:3 – Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
Trust the Lord in all your projects.
Let us unload our burdens on the Lord,
trust the Lord in all your projects, and success will lie in your house.
Good morning family
Good day to you
