My Month Of Strengthening! Ps125:1

The Lord is our strength.
To be attached to the Lord is to be strengthened and courageous.
We will always be unable to face our enemies if the Lord does not equip us.
We will always be dominated by our adversaries if God’s presence is not manifest in our lives.
Trusting the Lord gives us confidence and distinction before the world.
This is what happened with David facing Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:
And when they heard the words of David, they repeated them before Saul, and he sent for him.
David said to Saul, “Let no one be discouraged by this Philistine. Your servant will go and fight with him.
Saul said to David, “You cannot go to battle with this Philistine, for you are a child, and he is a man of war from his youth.
David said to Saul, “Your servant was feeding his father’s sheep. And when a lion or a bear came and took one from the flock,
I ran after it and struck it, and snatched the sheep out of its mouth. And if he came up against me, I seized him by the throat and struck him down and killed him.
As your servant has struck down the lion and the bear, so shall this uncircumcised Philistine be like one of them; for he has insulted the army of the living God.
And David said, The LORD, who delivered me out of the lions claw and out of the bears paw, will also deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Go, and the LORD be with you.
Beloved, nobody asked David to confront this giant, but he just realised that he was serving a living God in whom he had put his trust.
We call that wisdom, faithfulness, faith…
Seeing a man who was full of pride and relying on his own strength revolted him.
It was time to prove to the world that the Lord of hosts is our refuge and our security.
David was a shepherd and all his experience was in the fields with animals but when the time came, it was before a multitude that the Lord glorified Himself in his life and he overthrew Goliath.
David had a covenant with the Lord; he decided to enlarge his tent, his battlefield, while relying on the Lord.
We have remained too much in servitude, let’s grow in our skills, our abilities…
The gift, the talent, the potential that the Lord has given us must be exploited.
Isaiah, 54:2 – Enlarge the space of your tent; Let the covers of your dwelling be spread out. Stretch out your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
Pray for the strengthening of your strength.
It is those who are strong and solid who will stand up to Goliath.
Jesus wants to take us to green pastures, where freshness is found, where new revelations are kept.
Jesus wants to lead us into the unknown, where he himself is the good shepherd, where he goes before us.
So let us know that God is the source, and it is from him that we must all draw.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
