My Month of Wisdom ! Pr3:13

During Absalom’s rebellion against his father David, Ahithophel, his advisor betrayed him and sided with Absalom.
The book of 2 Samuel tells us that David fled and found refuge in the Mount of Olives.
Hushai, David’s faithful friend, wishes to accompany him in his flight, but King David finds him a burden and urges him to go to the court in Jerusalem to counter the advice of Ahithophel and to join the service of Absalom.
Because of his age and experience, Hushai agrees to the ruse and wins Absalom’s confidence.
This is how Hushai contradicts Hashitophel’s words and proposes to wait before pursuing David because the psalmist is a man of war and a strategist.
Hushai warns David of the new resolutions.
Hushai’s intervention will help precipitate Absalom’s fall and restore David’s authority.
It is important to be wise, if Hushai was not a servant of the Lord, how would he fight this battle?
How was he going to have the courage to be in the midst of the wolves without being devoured?
It was because the Lord had taken the time to equip him, to fill him, that he was the effective person to carry out this plan.
Let us be careful when we speak, our words can destroy or bless us.
Whenever we want to speak the words, let us ask the Lord to use our mouths to edify others.
Proverbs, 13:3 – He who guards his mouth guards his soul; he who opens his lips wide runs to his destruction.
Fast and pray to speak wisely.
From our mouths come the state of our soul.
God wants to hear positive words, words of support, peace, comfort, blessing, words that do us good and touch others.
We need to know how to measure our words, to think before we speak,
Our words reveal our thoughts.
Lord, sanctify our tongues,
Purify our tongues,
Touch our lips.
May our words serve for edification and communicate grace to those who hear.
