My Month Of Testimonies! Ps75:9

1 John, 5:7 – For there are three who bear witness:
1 John, 5:8 – The Spirit, the water, and the blood, and all three agree.
Pray that the three will bear witness to you!
The number three is the symbol of the Trinity.
It is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit, the Water and the Blood agree that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Water is the word of God, the birth.
The Blood is the life, the impetus that animates the life of Jesus from his birth to his death.
The Spirit, Jesus is not just living flesh, nor the son of man, he received the breath of God, he was born of that breath.
This verse reveals harmony,
mutual compassion,
the complementarity between these three dimensions of the human person.
No dimension is above the other,
no one wants to eliminate the other,
each comes with its own part and creates a fusion.
Blood, water and Spirit speak to us of Christ as a child of God and reveal to us who we really are through him and in him.
Three entities are co-eternal, equal in power, glory and substance.
The Spirit referred to in this passage is the Holy Spirit, the active force that empowered Jesus to accomplish his mission.
Water evokes the need to be born again.
The water of baptism bears witness to the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. This was confirmed when Jesus went to John the Baptist to be baptised in water.
The blood is the blood of Jesus shed as a ransom, a sacrifice to deliver us from our sins.
We are God’s children and it is these elements that make up our identity and forge our faith.
Today, we are not celebrating in the imagination, we are bearing witness to the power and glory of the Lord who surrounds us with his love every day.
So may his name be glorified.
Good morning beloved
Good day to you
