My Month Of Prosperity! 3Jn1:2

2 Kings 7 tells us the story of the great famine in Samaria, Israel under siege from the Syrians. The famine was so intense that the mothers went so far as to kill and eat their own children.
Elisha prophesied that within 24 hours there would be plenty of food in the city. The following verses tell us how God used four lepers in their camp by the city gate to fulfil this miraculous prophecy. The rest of the lepers had died of starvation.
These four men were in a particularly dire situation.
They could not enter their own city of Samaria because of their leprosy and they could not go far from the city which was surrounded by the Syrian army.
Realising that they would soon die, they decided to approach the Syrian army and hoped for their mercy, but at the same time prepared themselves for a possible death.
When the lepers came trembling into the Syrian camp, they saw that all the men of war had left. They panicked and fled in fear from an imaginary army.
The hungry lepers entered a tent where they found food, ate and drank.
Finally, the lepers shared the amazing good news with the king and soon all of Samaria was feasting.
Without any human intervention, the Syrian army was routed.
The Lord alone won the day.
The officer on whose hand the king was leaning answered the man of God: *When the Lord makes windows in heaven, will such a thing happen? And Elisha said, “You shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.
For this officer, how could the situation be turned around in 24 hours?
Where would this abundance come from?
All this to tell us that when the Lord wants to introduce us to a new dimension, he orchestrates everything,
he plans everything,
he organises every detail.
Our God is called Jehovah Jireh, he is the provider par excellence, when he has said what he is going to do, no one can change anything about it, it’s up to us to put our faith into practice, it’s up to us to trust in the word.
Philippians, 4:19 – And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches with glory in Christ Jesus.
Pray that you may have full confidence in the Lord’s provision.
There is no need that God cannot meet,
There isn’t a thing the Lord can’t do.
It is an immense, unlimited promise concerning need.
It’s an affirmation, a confirmation, God pledges his reputation in this verse, he’s not talking about certain needs, he’s talking about all our needs.
In the same way that Paul had this certainty about the Philippians, we also have this same assurance.
So let us trust in our Lord.
He is faithful.
Jesus, we love you for who you are.
Good morning to you all
Good day to you all
