my Month Of Delivrance! Rom10:13

The Lord’s promise is surely our weapon of triumph.
*They will wage war against us but they will not defeat us.
Isn’t that wonderful?
As children of God, we are exposed to all sorts of attacks,
some are spiritual and others come from our friends, our neighbours, our families… But God reminds us that whatever their stratagems, they will not defeat us.
Nothing can happen to us without God’s permission,
We remain under his shelter, he protects us.
Goliath, the Philistine, rose to challenge Israel for several days.
He had experience,
he was a man of war,
he had all the stature needed to topple his adversary.
He stunned Israel,
traumatised it…
He was so successful at intimidation that all Israel’s men of war were influenced by him, even Saul.
But David did not tolerate this giant insulting his God and he decided to confront him not because he had the ability, but because he was counting on God to fight for him and give him victory so that his people would be delivered.
In 1 Samuel 18:10 we see an attack between King Saul and David. When David was victorious in the battle against Goliath the Philistine, the Israelite women sang: “Saul has conquered his thousands and David his tens of thousands”. From that moment on, jealousy took hold of Saul’s heart and he sought at all costs to take David’s life.
The Bible says that while the evil spirit took hold of Saul “as on other days, David played his instrument.
Saul had his spear in his hand.
Suddenly he threw it, saying to himself: I’m going to nail him to the wall. But twice David dodged the blow. From that day on, Saul feared David, because the Lord was with David even though he had withdrawn from him”.
We will be attacked, yes, but we will not be defeated.
Psalms, 18:17 – He stretched out his hand from on high, and took me, and drew me out of many waters;
The powerful adversaries will not have the upper hand over you in the name of Jesus.
When we are in tribulation, when the wiles of the enemy choke us, God intervenes and pulls us out of adversity.
So don’t think that we’re alone in this problem that plagues us,
don’t think that the Lord has forgotten us or abandoned us,
He is too faithful not to deliver us in our time of need.
