My Month Of Impact! Mt5:16

Several characters in the bible prove to us that it is important to trust in God.
The fact that Abram and Sarai were old and childless did not discourage them from following God, they knew that God had made them a promise and that it would be fulfilled.
He only had the promise but in no way had he doubted the love of God, in any case unbelief had controlled him.
We cannot explain how Abram did to remain faithful and blameless, he was quick to obey God, when God asked him to leave his father’s house, he obeyed without knowing where he was going, when God asked him to to offer him his only son, he did not hesitate to make the sacrifice.
Abraham was positioned, he knew that God never disappoints.
He is until today the father of faith.
David is also an example for those who want to pray and praise God.
He knew how to surrender to God for his battles, he knew how to humble himself and ask forgiveness when he had sinned, he knew how to encourage others to be loyal.
He was the man after God’s heart because God had all the place in his life, he encouraged Solomon his son to follow the Lord with all his heart and keep his commandments.
David knew how to cultivate his relationship with the father.
He stood up and tore Goliath apart because he couldn’t stand anyone daring to challenge the armies of God.
He was sure that his God would deliver Goliath to him because of his insolence.
Despite Saul’s plots and accusations, despite having several opportunities to kill Saul, David did not do so because he respected the anointing of God that King Saul had received.
David did nothing without asking the Lord, he was certainly a man of war but he still needed the Lord’s approval.
He was a model of the Christian life.
Job was a man of integrity and righteousness, but God tested him.
The Lord let the devil take everything from him, he allowed Job to be rejected, accused but this man persevered in the ways of the Lord.
Job lost his children, his wealth, he did not deny God, on the contrary he continued to praise him.
An example to copy, a person we should be like.
In the face of trials, he is focused on divine restoration.
Peter had the honor of being the rock on which Jesus built his church and it is normal to consider him a hero.
He urges people to fear God, to be sober, and to watch over the words of men of God.
He was zealous for the Lord and was always ready to defend him.
Each of them has lived experiences according to their time, they show us that we need prayers, humility to walk in the footsteps of the Lord.
All these men had their faults and their weaknesses, but they still had a deep relationship with God.
Jesus is perfection itself, he wants us to be his imitators, he wants love, sharing and forgiveness to take root in our midst, he invites us to consecrate and sanctify ourselves more.
The world leads us into disorder, we cannot copy the model of the world and live, it is only caricature and dream but we do not want to imitate people who push us to be our best versions.
This is what 1 Kings says, 15:11 – Asa did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, like David his father.
Seek to follow the good examples of the fathers in the faith.
David marked his time, he left his marks, his imprints.
His works were so strong that it affected generations.
Asa was impacted by David and he copied his ancestor.
Let’s be imitators,
Let us be worshipers,
Let’s be models,
Let us follow the Lord with all our heart and be blessed.
Hello to us
Have a good day
