My Month Of Distinction! Ps139:14

As children of God, we must support each other, encourage each other.
Paul advises us not to be a stumbling block for our brothers, he urges us to be careful how we speak and act.
He asks us to put aside, to abandon what could disturb the faith of our neighbour.
He does not say that it is a sin but he invites us to remain in peace and in harmony.
Our instruction this morning is a little sensitive.
It concerns new converts who are like babies for whom we must accompany in their growth.
The new convert is the one who has just given his life to the Lord, he wants to make commitments with Christ but he does not know how it works.
The new convert must be taught about his new identity, about his new status.
It is our job to inform him of his rights, his privileges, his limits, his responsibilities.
The new convert must know that putting the word of God into practice develops our relationship with the Lord, allows us to experience the presence of God.
If God entrusts us with a new convert, we must take care of him to account to him.
We must take an interest in his life without invading him, we must give him our time and our love.
And above all, we must be a role model for those we mentor.
Acts, 15:19 – Therefore I am of opinion that one does not create difficulties for those of the Gentiles who convert to God,
Be an encouragement for young believers.
Paul agrees that we make it easy for those who come new to the Lord, he asks us not to put pressure on them and to go with them at their own pace so that they do not flee from the presence of God, or so that they do not backslide or else so that they do not go astray.
Let us lead them with patience and wisdom until they are established.
hello home
Have a good day
