My Month Of Assurance! Ps55:23

*Be strong* is the basis of this morning’s exhortation.
This word signifies a permanent state to be had in the Lord.
It is advice, it is an order, it is an imperative, it is an encouragement that God addresses to each one of us.
*Getting stronger* is a responsibility that engages our will.
The Bible tells us in 1 Samuel 30 that David was strong in the Lord.
People opposed him but he went to hide in the presence of the Lord, he knew that power and strength came from his Father, he was not discouraged by the trials, and it is in the presence of God that he received the word and the energy to pursue and succeed.
In Jesus that we can face challenges, trust in him and be strengthened in him.
To strengthen oneself in God is to position oneself in our identity and in our heritage as children of God.
Also, just knowing that God is faithful, that he always acts, that he is our provider, our refuge in the day of trouble and our high retirement gives us to always count on him.
Ephesians, 6:10 – For the rest, be strong in the Lord, and by his almighty strength.
Pray to more strengthened to become stronger.
God needs men who are strong in him to fulfill ministries.
Let us continue to strengthen ourselves in the Lord by believing and obeying his word.
