My Month of Wisdom ! Pr3:13

What’s happening to him?
Does he even think?
What’s wrong with this person?
Have we heard these kinds of remarks before?
We are talking about “common sense” this morning.
Common sense is the ability to judge well, to decide with intelligence.
Many times we have let others make decisions for us,
we have let those around us think for us,
We thought we were getting the best direction from them, but we should trust in Jesus.
The Bible teaches us how to live with common sense,
We sometimes react in a wrong way because the word of God is not at the centre of our lives.
Abigail was a woman of good sense, when her husband Nabal despised David the next king and resolved to kill him.
It was his wife Abigail who took the lead,
she ran to serve and ask forgiveness for her husband and his house.
David expected Nabal to be grateful.
Sheep shearing was always a time of joy, hospitality and sharing.
So it was natural for David to expect a reward, but this was not the case.
So Abigail stood up and took responsibility in the midst of the clashing men.
Proverbs, 19:8 – He who acquires understanding loves his soul; he who keeps understanding finds happiness.
Pray for God to grant you common sense.
The wisdom spoken of in the book of Proverbs is practical wisdom.
It emphasises the importance of common sense for the believer.
If we have common sense, we will be at peace.
To be happy, we need to be smart.
We must do as Jesus wants so that we do not fall into the traps of the enemy.
Hello to all
Good day to you
