If we were asked the question of who is our only master?
What takes the first place in our lives?
What are we built on?
We will certainly all respond that it is Jesus who is our Alpha and Omega.
But is it the truth?
We cannot give 50% or 99.5% to the Lord and say that he is our first love.
Jesus does not share his glory, either he reigns or it is not him.
Think what we want, he is God.
We may be Christians but we know that we are not Christians of the depths, we refuse to let ourselves be broken and cut by the Holy Spirit, we want to do as we see fit and hide in churches.
Let us tell ourselves that if we are still too aware of ourselves, it is not Jesus our only one.
Too much anger still controls us as sons of God, too much bitterness, too much quarreling …
The devil still dictates his laws to us, he uses his agents to rob us and empty us.
It feeds on our emotions and feelings on which it sits.
There is a story in the bible that illustrates our daily life well.
A rich man who knows God, who serves him, who pays his tithing, makes the seeds and the offerings, who keeps the commandments of God and is sure that he is blameless and that his place is in heaven.
Jesus asks him to sell all his goods and distribute them to the poor.
He couldn’t do it because his possessions were very precious to him and that’s how he realizes that mamon is his idol, his foundation.
We all have a god in our lives and in order to negotiate access to the 2021 legacy, we have to choose sides, we have to make sure we are making good decisions.
We are the thirteenth day of the month of reconstruction and spiritually thirteen symbolizes rebellion.
The Lord knows that we are a rebellious people so it is up to us to see and stand on the side of the truth.
Let only Jesus Christ be your foundation in all areas.
1 Corinthians, 3:11 – For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
We can only participate in the building of the church if we are Christians.
To build a foundation, you need solid materials otherwise it will collapse.
So what is the foundation of our life?
What makes its strength?
Is it built on the rock?
What are our lives based on?
In whom and in what do we place our trust?
Each of us can answer these questions, but let us know that this is all vanity and that Jesus Christ is the only unshakeable foundation that no rain, no flood, no trial can shake.
We have no insurance if the building of our lives is on sand.
So let’s be mindful of what our hearts are set on.
Hello people
Have a good day
