Let’s control our thoughts, we will really exaggerate.
We think so much that we ourselves create our frustrations, we invent films that we ourselves control, we maintain bitterness and resentment because our thoughts are not put away.
That is why we must be true Christians, those whose passions and lusts do not stifle, those who please God.
Until we watch, we do not master, until we let our thoughts be tested by God, we will not have healthy thoughts, they will always be tinged with cunning, they will always be corrupt.
How do we occupy our thoughts?
Are we thinking of things above?
Even our living environment promotes and maintains the atmosphere for pure thoughts, so we have to clean up our surroundings, we cannot spend our days watching the sex-urged movies and not developing certain thoughts.
We cannot be in a house where anger and quarrels are always the order of the day and not be swayed by grudge,
We cannot live in a violent neighborhood and not have the phobia, we cannot choose to listen to the music that plagues our minds and be prepared for the Holy Spirit.
Let us hold on tight, if our environment is unhealthy, our words, our actions, our words will bear the mark of impurity and fornication.
The mood we create encroaches on our thoughts.
One of the secrets to keep our thoughts pure, let’s spend time in the presence of God, we have to stay in intimacy with him, we have to spend quality time in his company.
The more time we spend with someone, the more we are like them.
We therefore have the possibility of changing our thoughts, we are the only ones responsible for our state of mind, we are the masters of it.
Pay attention to the things we listen to and see, just because we have been born again or have confessed to Christ does not mean that our thoughts are automatically renewed.
It is a process, it is a work that we must initiate and it is not the Lord who does it for us.
It is our unjust, rebellious thoughts that open the doors to worries, to problems …
Let’s put our thoughts on the radar, protect them from the lights, watch out for rotten thoughts that challenge the authority of God in our lives.
Are our thoughts good or bad?
Our thoughts revolve around what?
What are our thoughts attracted to?
Most of the time, our thoughts are centered on discouragement, on worries, on criticism, revenge, anger, frustrations …
We are the fruit of our thoughts so let us be ready to repress, to reject the thoughts that break the love of God.
Mark, 7:15 – There is nothing outside of a man that entering into him can defile him; but what comes out of a man is that which defiles him.
Pray to always keep a pure mind!
The source of the defilement of the human being is within him, it is our bad thoughts and our bad works that defile us, when our hearts are corrupt and doubtful, nothing good follows.
It is from within, from the hearts of men, that evil thoughts, wickedness, murders, thefts, embezzlements emerge …
All of these things come out of us and defile us.
So it’s up to us to have pure thoughts,
It’s up to us to let God carve and polish us,
It is up to us not to strain our ears or our eyes to the infested things.
Let us remain in the presence of God and let the Lord purify us by opening the gates of living water to us.
