My Month Of Sharing ! He13:16

Beloved, good works are not always what we imagine as good. Even with a good intention, as long as it is a misplaced zeal, it will be called a groundless act.
It is the practice of God’s commandments that determines good works, it is being in conformity with the instructions of God’s word, it is striving towards the perfection of our Father.
The Bible tells us that King Hezekiah was godly.
The word of God says that in every work he undertook in the service of God’s house, he acted with all his heart and prospered.
During Hezekiah’s reign, he purified the temple and restored the worship of the Lord that his father had completely set aside.
This king acted with all his heart, do we desire to show the same fervour in the activities that God has entrusted to us?
How do we come before the Lord to express our praise?
We also have the story of Mary of Bethany, who chose the right part, she chose to come to the feet of the Lord to hear the word, she knew how to discern the right moment to honour her Lord and receive his approval.
In any case, we cannot be children of the light, wanting to lead others and not be able to have our hearts in our hands, not being sensitive to the needs of others.
Let us be imitators of Jesus, let us be quick to contribute to the happiness of our neighbour.
1 Timothy 6:18 – Admonish them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be liberal and generous,
Teach by your example the practice of good works.
The advice we must work with this week is to be generous, to help others by giving them the love and the smile they need.
There is no point in claiming to be imitators of Christ if our hearts are not receptive or insensitive to the trials of others.
Let us do good.
That is what God wants us to do.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
