My Month Of Gratitude! 1Thes5:18

Father, even today we bless your name.
Knowing you is our wealth, but the world does not know it.
Serving you is a heritage, but men ignore it.
Worshipping you is a sacrifice, but Egypt wants to dilute your omnipotence.
We just want to tell you that you are wonderful,
We praise all that you are.
Our words are not enough to express our gratitude,
Our words are small to reveal the depths of our hearts.
Lord, thank you for everything.
On this day, you want us to know something important, you want us to know that we must no longer bury ourselves in our past,
Many of us look only at our limits,
Many of us have imprisoned our destinies in sin.
We think it is impossible for us to bounce back,
We think that Lord, in all your greatness, you have forgotten us.
But this morning you speak to us of mercy.
You draw our attention to this character of yours and we glorify you for it.
*Mercy is having a heart that beats for the poor.
*Mercy is compassion for all forms of suffering.
It is patience, it is forgiveness for all those who are slow to convert, it is helping with love without expecting anything in return.
In Luke 10, Jesus tells us the story of a man who was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho,
beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.
A priest who was passing by saw him and went over anyway.
A Levite who was passing by also ignored him.
But a Samaritan travelling there was moved with compassion when he saw him.
He bandaged his wounds, poured oil and wine on them, put him on his own horse and took him to a hotel and looked after him.
Let’s not be indifferent like the priest and the Levite, let’s have compassion for others.
That’s exactly what Jesus did with us, we were dead but in his love and compassion, he reached out to us and made us alive.
We were unworthy, he made us worthy.
We were sinners, he made us righteous.
We were his enemies, he reconciled us to himself.
We were in the kingdom of darkness, he transferred us to his kingdom.
The Lord’s mercy is great for each one of us.
Give thanks to the Lord for his infinite mercy.
Psalms, 136:1 – Praise the Lord, for he is good, For his mercy endures forever!
Let us never cease to praise the name of our Yaweh,
May our lips never fail to sing songs of joy for our Father.
His love is genuine and he is available to those who want to come to him, he is always ready to welcome us and love us no matter what our condemnations.
So let us pray that God’s presence will be our strength at all times and in all places.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
