My Month Of Consecration! Ps119:10

2 Timothy, 3:2 – For men will be selfish, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, rebellious against their parents, ungrateful, irreligious,
Fast and pray to get away from destructive traits.
This passage tells us about Paul’s message to his spiritual son Timothy.
He tells us that the time is approaching when there will be hard times to endure,
it will be hard,
a time when demonic activity will be very present.
Are we not in that time?
when young people are compromising themselves for a better tomorrow,
where living standards are extremely low,
where celebrities are worshipped by the masses.
We are in an era where people have a very high opinion of themselves,
treating others with contempt,
behaving in a haughty manner.
We are in a rebellious generation, where the young reject the gospel, its values, the precepts…
Sons oppose their fathers and daughters their mothers.
They reject parental authority,
they are ungrateful,
they think they are entitled to everything and no longer accept any restrictions.
They reject the values instilled in them by their parents.
We must understand that we are not the first Christians to live among a lost population,
we are not the first to live in a society where most people are focused on themselves and are not interested in God’s truth.
We are already in the end times, Paul explains how believers should relate to people in the last days.
When David was fleeing from Saul and had been hiding in one place for some time, he and his friends became extremely hungry. After learning that a man named Nabal was a prosperous man,
David sent his servants to ask him for some food for his troops.
Nabal refused.
God says that in these last days selfishness will be the order of the day.
As Christians, we should rather give money away than pile it up;
We must follow the good example of the Christians of Macedonia who, in the midst of tribulation, produced abundant bounty and gave themselves first to the Lord.
So we bless the name of the Lord who keeps away from us characters who can destroy us.
