My Month Of Consecration! Ps119:10

Our month of consecration is drawing to a close.
And the final message of the season is no less important.
Are we ready for what’s next?
Are we ready to go into deep waters?
Are we ready for the coming of the Lord?
This is not a question to be answered lightly,
it’s a decision,
It’s a choice that depends solely on us.
Do we want to be Christians who will not be recognised by the Lord on the last day?
The Bible clearly tells us about ten virgins, five of whom were foolish and the others wise.
In fact, this story tells us about being ready or not for the rapture.
These ten virgins are saved but not all of them are ready for the rapture when the bridegroom returns.
Jesus told the story of ten young girls who were going to a wedding. They were waiting for the bridegroom to come and let them in.
They didn’t know when he would come.
The ten women had oil lamps.
Five of the women were wise.
They had brought spare oil.
The other five women were foolish.
All they had was the oil in their lamps.
The bridegroom took a long time to come.
All the oil in the lamps had burnt up.
The five wise women put more oil in their lamps.
The five foolish women had to go and buy some.
While they were gone, the bridegroom came.
He let the five wise women in for the wedding.
When the five foolish women returned, the door was locked.
They couldn’t get in to attend the wedding.
Jesus is like the bridegroom in the story.
The members of the Church are like those ten women.
When Jesus returns, some members will be ready.
They will have obeyed God’s commandments.
Others will not be ready.
They will not be able to be with the Saviour when he returns.
That is our Lord’s concern for this last day of the month.
Are we ready for his coming?
Pray to be ready for the Lord’s coming.
Hosea, 6:3 – Let us know, let us seek to know the Lord; His coming is as sure as the dawn. He will come for us like rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.
We don’t believe in Yaweh’s coming because we don’t know him.
If we could come a little closer,
we will see and understand that our God is alive and that his promise is certain.
Let us prepare to welcome him,
Let us prepare to receive him,
Let us prepare to recognise him,
Let us prepare to honour him.
He is our refuge,
He is our high retreat.
To whom shall we go?
He is the word of life.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
