My Month Of Humility! Matt18:4

We want to thank you, Lord, for all the things you do in our lives.
We bless you for your love and your presence in our midst.
We celebrate you because you reign over our situations.
Receive all honour, Eternal One.
Be highly exalted, Daddy.
This is the day of the Lord,
It’s our day to dress up to meet our beloved.
We must all respond to the invitation, it’s a festive occasion.
We are distinguished guests,
we’re VIPs, but only when we arrive are we seated at the back of the room.
Immediately, we feel diminished, insulted… We don’t feel comfortable going on, even though we’ve come for these meetings.
We feel so devalued, embarrassed and angry, and sometimes we’d rather go home because we’re so shocked.
We can’t count the number of times this has happened to us,
we can’t count how many times our hearts have been bruised because we haven’t received the honours and acclaim attached to our person.
We feel that in last place we cease to exist, we are no longer ourselves.
In last place, we feel inferior. We think that others are more qualified and more important than we are.
In last place, you’re not seen, not appreciated, not positioned.
Last place shatters our self-confidence and breeds bitterness in our hearts.
And that’s why everyone fights to sit in the front rows.
We want to be at the front of ceremonies,
we let our superiority complexes show,
We want to elevate ourselves instead of lowering ourselves.
The Bible tells us in Luke 14:10 – But when you are invited, go and sit in the last place, so that when the one who invited you comes, he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher. Then you will be honoured before all those who sit at table with you.
Avoid being noticed in public.
The Lord always deals with pride in our lives.
He urges us to be humble.
He advises us to let others give us the glory.
The last place is not necessarily a place of humiliation and contentment, it is a place of service where the Lord sees us available, welcoming…
And at any moment, the Lord will take us out of Nazareth and bring us into Jerusalem.
But that depends entirely on the Master.
Hello there
Good day to you
