My Month Of Solidarity! Phil2:4

Let us not have light tongues.
Every day is a new challenge with our words.
We speak too much and we sin.
So many words to accuse!
So many words to complain!
What words to murmur!
So many words to impress and seduce!
So many words to find arguments to lie and sometimes to give false testimony!
We are the ones who use foul language.
The words that insult and belittle are always us,
The words that are humiliating, frustrating, discouraging and bad are still us.
We always want to show ourselves to be superior to others, and sometimes we do not fail to distort the truth.
The Bible tells us that when David had problems,
Shimei, a man of Saul’s household and family, came to pronounce curses and throw stones at David and his servants.
Shimei spoke curses: *Begone, begone, you man of blood, you wicked man.
*The LORD has laid on you all the blood of the house of Saul, whose throne you held, and the LORD has given the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son; and now you are as wretched as you deserve to be, for you are a man of blood!
Shemei is a son of Benjamin and David is of Judah, so both are children of Israel, the children of God.
One laughs when his brother is in trouble,
he’s not afraid to humiliate him in front of the crowd, there’s no fear of God.
Let us beware of untoward words.
Shimei’s evil words were the state of his corrupt heart.
We use our mouths for many things but God wants our tongues to bless.
We really need to pray that the Lord will enable us to be honest, kind, compassionate workers in our words.
Let the Lord use the words of our mouths for his service and glory.
Healthy words imply the presence and manifestation of love in our hearts.
Let us walk in the light,
let us have sweet words and let us reconcile ourselves by practising the word of God.
Pray that your words will always be imbued with the fear of God.
Ephesians, 4:29 – Let no evil word proceed out of your mouth, but where necessary, some good word, to be used for instruction and to impart grace to those who hear it.
What brings peace and growth is love and encouraging words.
So let us wield our tongues well for the glory of God.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
