My Month Of Laughter! Es8:16

The year is over and most of us have not benefited from the Lord’s promise of distinction.
We have spent the time relying on our own means,
We have used our own strategies to achieve our ends,
We have tried, we have fallen and we have become discouraged.
We asked for help and the help of our relationships, we even managed to have a semblance of the peace and joy that the world could provide.
But at the end of the day, we’re still without any real security and we’re frustrated, disappointed, worried and wondering if it’s worth continuing.
If the Lord is really alive, if he is listening to us, or if he has really paid the price for our peace of mind.
Beloved, it’s true that everything is going badly for us, but have we really sought the face of God for this situation?
It’s true that we have the impression that we’re going round in circles, but have we sincerely asked God what’s going wrong in our lives?
We don’t have a job, a husband or children. Have we come close to the throne of glory to truly call on his name?
Our ministry isn’t taking off, no one is coming to our prayer and evangelism programmes despite our efforts, but what have we really done so that the glory of God can shine forth?
David took another man’s wife and had her husband killed.
When the Lord came down with the rebuke, he asked just one question: *If it had been too little, I would have added to it.
*Why have you despised the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in my sight?
In other words, we need to return to the foot of the Lord if we have a need instead of ending up in sin.
And that’s what we all do when faced with a difficulty, we run to the solutions of men, we seek our own interests, we appeal to everyone but the Lord.
The Lord has not yet given us what we need because we have not yet asked him.
We have not called on him,
we have gone to idols, we have consulted divinations and we have put aside the name of Jesus.
As long as we do not have intimacy with the Lord, as long as we neglect the power that is in the name of Jesus, we will not be satisfied.
John, 16:24 – Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Do not hesitate to bring your needs before the throne of grace.
The verse talks about bringing in the name of Jesus, not the name of our parents or our gods, but the name above every name.
The name at the mention of which every knee shall bow and every tongue worship.
That name is JESUS.
Have we dared to disturb God in our expectations?
The Lord urges us to pray in his name in the midst of this turbulence in the world, this upheaval.
This is a time for prayer, prayer in the name of the Lord Jesus, who has come and will come. Through his Spirit, he gives us free access to the Father.
So it is the one who asks who is blessed, the one who dares who benefits from the promise,
he who implores the Lord is heard.
It is the one who sits at the feet of the Lord who has the right to true joy, the joy that will never be taken away.
Good morning to you all
Good day to you all
