My Month of Commitment!Deut.23:23

In general, in our human nature, we have a way of doing and thinking, we tend to like certain things, we are flattered by things that fascinate us and it is important to know that our choices or decisions can lead us. far from the divine path, they can make us stumble and lose sight of the essential, they can push us to idolatry.
We like to hang on to everything we see, everything within our reach, earthly things and all that has been put in place by the subtlety of the devil, it has been fine-tuned to attract our attention and our gaze.
Now, if we want to reframe ourselves and go back in the right direction, let’s get what we need, make sure we’re in the right place and on the right support.
God in his word gives us directions, and we must know them.
It stops on an important aspect this morning and invites us all to read Colossians, 3: 2 – Affect the things above, not those on the earth.
Pray to be more attracted by heavenly things!
In a natural way, we easily take the wrong path, be more attentive, we are not in this world to do everything we want and everything we like, we are here to mold ourselves to the teaching of the Lord, tidy up our lives and act according to the Royal throne.
That’s why we need to brush our courts, restrict what is not necessary, cultivate good deeds.
We must therefore examine ourselves to see if we are not attached to the things of this earth, if the desires and riches of this world have not chained us to the point of blindness.
To be a child of God does not mean to be safe from temptations; on the contrary, the enemy is there to destroy us and devour us, and the more we will be engaged with the Lord, the greater will be the adversity.
We are in the era of speed, everything is beauty, aesthetics, luxury, attractive but we must know our place.
Let not our hearts fill with projects, ambitions, beautiful things, be invaded by vain things so that after we have no space for the spiritual.
To attach oneself to things above, we must be more engaged, sharper, more tenacious, more persevering.
The word of God says to seek firstly the kingdom of heaven, heaven must be our home, the heaven must be our goal, no carnal condition can shake us.
God so loved the world that He gave His only son.
These are the things from above, a sacrifice, pure love.
He did not sort to look at the heads of those he loved, he did not choose according to his relationship, he loved us simply and naturally.
It is divine love, it is heavenly love.
This is the kind of love that Yaweh invites us to communicate for each other.
Can we do it?
Do not be distracted, let us work to look like our Father who is in heaven.
Let us turn our thoughts to the throne of glory, and it is when we do it that we remember that God has not forgotten us and is preparing for us a good future.
Thank you Lord, we engage with you again this morning, we want only you, we want to be under your feet in eternity.
We want to remain faithful and upright, we want to be good examples to shine your kingdom.
Thank you Father for bringing us back to order.
May glory return to you.
