The day that David fought against Goliath and conquered him was a day of glory for the son of Jesse, it was on that day that the doors of honor and celebration opened before him, it was a day when young David seized the opportunity that presented itself to him and that was the day he stopped being invisible in the fields to be a hero, a leader.
It was not only the day of his fresh start but it was also the day that his problems began with Saul.
David did Israel good by challenging the strong man of the land but Saul, instead of seeing him as a partner, as a support, lust and jealousy were born in his heart.
Saul began to develop a complex, he began to plot against his agent, he wanted to see him disappear.
David understood that his manager was angry with him, he started to pay attention.
Although he had several opportunities to eliminate Saul, he respected the oil on his head, he honored the leadership.
Saul at one point had made David’s death a goal so nothing mattered anymore.
And this is how we fight endless battles, we waste our energy trying to hurt the people who love us and help us, we refuse to tap the well that they are, we focus on their weaknesses instead. to look at their gifts and talents.
Although David was Saul’s successor, he was ready to continue serving and honoring Saul, but Saul’s wickedness prevented him from seeing what David could bring him.
This is always what Hamman did, he wanted to bring down the Jewish people, he couldn’t stand Mordecai, so he had planned to kill him and it backfired.
Wickedness does not benefit us, it delays us, it prevents us from enjoying our blessings, it denies our peace and our fulfillment.
No matter what we go through, God is our refuge and our home.
Let us not let our resentment and bitterness distract us from the blessing.
Deuteronomy 1:35 – None of the men of this wicked generation will see the good land which I have sworn to give to your fathers,
Reject wickeness in the order not to the deprived from God’s blessings.
Unbelief is not a sin to be taken lightly.
the Lord had promised Canaan to Israel.
Instead of grasping this promise, he sent spies into Canaan who brought back evil reports filled with fear, doubt, and unbelief.
Israel did not trust in God, it did not believe the word of the Lord and the Lord decided to reject them, no one of this generation was able to enter the promised land, in the blessing .
Friends, let’s stop disbelief, stop acting badly even when the love of God secures us, and let God’s blessings be with us every day of our lives.
Hello to us
Good day
