My Month Of Assurance! Ps55:23

Provision does not mean luxury, excess, or abundance.
It means not wanting for anything, having what we need, having access to daily and sufficient manna to live on.
During Elijah’s flight from Jezebel who had decided to have all the prophets of God killed, Elijah found himself in a cave in which he was alone, without food, just a torrent around him.
Being cut off from the world simply meant being totally dependent on the voice of God to resist anything we can imagine.
One thing will intrigue us in the story of Elijah, God raised up an unexpected provider to serve the servant.
He will mandate a crow, an animal of the world of darkness to feed the man of God, he will use this bird to make himself available to serve his anointed, he will hurry the crow to satisfy his leader so that he does not die of hunger.
Then, Elijah needs to quench his thirst, he will drink water from the torrent.
The Lord will protect him, he will secure him, he will strengthen him.
After this ordeal, the Eternal will send his hero to Serepta.
He will negotiate in advance with a widow in town to take him in.
Élie arrives unexpectedly at the lady’s house but she is going through difficult times.
It is because this prophet knows his God, that is why he did not turn back.
The widow has only a little flour and a little oil, just enough to prepare their last meal and die since famine was raging in the country.
What is curious, Elie acts selfishly, he arrives at a person he does not know and he imposes himself.
He wants to take priority.
He wants to be served first.
The Bible does not tell us what the woman thought but she surely had twinges in her heart but we must obey and honor the man of God.
Elijah made a declaration in the widow’s house, he spoke words of blessing, he made a promise to this woman.
*Until the Lord sends rain on the face of the ground, there will be no shortage of flour or oil.*
And this word was fulfilled in the life of this widow.
Beloved, the Lord gives us when it is needed at the time it is needed.
Isaiah 40:29 – He gives strength to the weary, And increases the strength of the faint.
Trust in the Lord for the provision of the resources you need.
Are we tired of the cares of life?
Do we want to give up?
Do we want to stop reading our Bibles or going to church?
Do not be discouraged, the Lord sustains us, he is with us, we will not be disappointed.
When we are weak, the Lord replenishes our strength.
He always gives us when we think it’s over, it’s the end.
Let us be lulled by the promises of God, he is faithful.
hello to us
Have a good day
