My Month Of Opportunity!Eccl9:11

Before attacking Jericho, the Israelites send spies to the city which will be discovered and they need help, they absolutely must find a way out to preserve their lives.
This is how they come into contact with Rabab, the prostitute.
In the Bible, prostitution is a symbol of idolatry.
Rabab lives in sin, she uses her body to make money, she doesn’t know any other way to meet her needs, she has a reputation and an image that she must maintain given her job.
For everyone else, it’s just her outward beauty that matters.
Know that when God seeks and finds those whose hearts are inclined toward him, it doesn’t matter how distant they are.
Rahab is a single woman in a man’s world, she prostitutes herself, she is Canaanite.
This woman who has nothing of a virtuous woman found herself faced with a decision to make.
She is far from God, she leads a life that does not glorify the Lord but she must take an act of faith.
She is aware that the God of the Israelites is alive and he has already shown his wonders several times.
She seizes the opportunity and negotiates an alliance between her men and her.
When the wrath of God will fall on Jericho, a fortified city, for Rabab and his family, it was a day of grace.
Not only are their lives spared, but they are integrated into Israel and enjoy all the attachments attached to Israel.
And Rabab, the prostitute became the ancestor of Jesus.
Do not make decisions and directions that lead us to dead ends.
Let God take control of our life and this requires a certain humility, self-surrender and perfect trust in the God of love.
Lamentations, 3:40 – Let us seek our ways and search, And return to the LORD;
Seize the opportunity to make peace with the Lord.
Here is Rabab who knew how to have discernment and she made good choices, a door opened in front of her, giving her the opportunity to return to the Lord and to make peace with her God.
Are we ready to return to the Lord?
Do we want peace to reign in our homes?
Let us be lulled by the love of the Lord and he will fill us with his peace.
hello to us
Have a good day
