It’s Monday, the first day of the week.
A day when everyone is clean, well dressed, well perfumed, well coiffe, beautiful to start the week.
Even students know that on Mondays, they have to be correct and up to date in front of the school portal, that’s part of the discipline.
Monday is a special day or everything shines, everything is in its place, everything shines, a day when everyone puts a point of honor on his physique, on aesthetics …
These are efforts that we make ourselves to beautify ourselves, to be pleasant to the sight but there is another beauty there, a beauty that does not come from us, we say that there is beauty and beauty, it is true because it overthrows all others, it is above, it attracts only the eyes, it distinguishes us, it is called the light, the glory of God.
When the glory of God is upon us, we are different, we are listened to, appreciated.
It does not depend on our wealth, our powers, our relationships. It comes from God.
When we have a seems of glory, she is transient, fallible, she can die at any moment and sometimes she is humiliating.
But the glory of God is the spirit of God, it is there, it is present, it is eternal.
God is a glorious God, when we look around us, we can confirm our greatness and sovereignty ourselves.
When we are rich, strong, we are not aware that it is God the source of it and we refuse to be grateful for what he does for us.
We continue to trust our goods, our relationships, our talents, our beauty but just let us know this morning that all these things are nothing without Jesus, it is ephemeral. They are like a flower that blooms, fades and dies in the end.
That’s what will happen to us if we do not put our lives back to Jesus, if we do not rethink ourselves.
We would be empty, desperate and without guidance.
Without faith, we can not see the glory of God, in difficult situations, dramatic, rely on our faith, only the faith of God can overcome the impossibilities, to overcome the natural limits to glorify the name of Jesus.
When we commit our faith, we commit the Lord.
The glory of God is the manifestation of the omnipotence of God, it is the presence of Jesus among us.
The Bible says in Psalms 3: 4 – But you, O LORD! you are my shield, you are my glory, and you lift my head.
Ask the Lord to see him in your life.
Lord, we recognize that you are our shield and our glory.
When the devil wants to condemn us, you are our savior and our support.
Lord, we beseech you to allow us to see your glory and help us to better represent you in our words and actions.
