Jesus was always considerate of us, not even once was he harsh and bossy.
It is because he is patient and loving that we serve him, he knows how to understand the feelings of others, he knows how to receive us with love.
When a woman with a bleeding touching his garment in the hope of being healed, he didn’t push her away, he didn’t rebuke her.
According to the law, she was unclean, dirty and forsaken, but Jesus treated her with great kindness, he welcomed her, he accepted her, he protected her, he loved her.
She had suffered for twelve years, surely rejected and abused by those around her, but Jesus restored her.
How good the Lord is to us!
We are made in the likeness of God, so benevolence should be part of our way of life.
Jesus, after we had betrayed, condemned, killed him, he did not take our sins into account to punish us, he offered himself despite everything as a sacrifice for our freedom.
Beloved, we cannot be lovable if we are not aware of God’s benevolence towards us.
David experienced the goodness of God.
He was the will of God, he was the King of Israel, he was a man of war.
Between the blood of men on his hands, the cases of adultery, his claim, he knew how to respect and honor God and men.
King David knew how to humble himself and bow down to the Lord, he knew how to make himself small despite his status and give full place to the Lord and ask for forgiveness.
David knows that God has the power to get us out of any situation, he knew how to count on the grace of God.
Even when he was guilty, he knew how to turn to God as a sign of trust, he knew how to open himself to the Lord through prayer and God always raised him to the point of considering him as the man according to his heart.

He gives thanks to whomever he wants.
And this is what Solomon was able to observe until he expressed himself in 2 Chronicles, 1: 8 – Solomon replied to God: You have treated David my father with great kindness, and you made me reign in its place.
Acknowledge the benevolence of God in your life.
God loved his servant David and David also knew how to obey and respect the Lord’s instructions.
God is love, he keeps his promises and he manages to make it happen.
God is a God of covenant, he does not change his words and always encourages us to follow the right path.
