My Month Of Loyalty ! Luke20 :25

We call ourselves Christians but we continue to worship idols,
We call ourselves children of God but we will always consult with witch doctors,
We say we serve the Lord but we bow down to the statutes and share the baal table.
We cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and at the same time from that of demons,
We cannot partake of the Lord’s table and at the same time the table of demons.
It is to offend God, it is to provoke his anger.
We must understand that any outward association with pagan idolatrous ceremonies involves fellowship with demons.
For the Corinthes, they thought they had nothing to do with idolatry because they just ate the meat.
They had twisted the Lord’s table so much that it had become an ordinary meal, they no longer respected anything, neither the church, nor the communion.
We must be aware of what we are expressing when we participate at the table of idols, we must honor the Lord by being in accord with the fellowship of his table.
The Lord’s table is a holy meal and it is not eaten in any way.
The Lord’s Supper is proof of unity and communion, it is a sign that we have one God and one spirit.
Just as those who eat meat sacrificed to an idol feel united and in fellowship with their idol, Christians should also feel united to Jesus when they eat at the Lord’s table.
Eating at the Lord’s table excludes being at the table of idols.
You can’t eat at both tables.
Jesus’ sacrifice was made once and for all,
free ourselves from the chains that we attach,
let us break the false reasonings of our thoughts.
The Lord’s Supper brings us back to our Christian life, it reminds us of the basis of our salvation, it invites us to live for the one who loved us first.
May every Christian sit honestly at the Lord’s table, eat the meal of the Lord’s table worthily and faithfully.
Any other association other than the Lord Jesus comes from the devil.
Paul tells us in
1 Corinthians, 10:21 – You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons; you cannot participate in the table of the Lord, and in the table of demons.
Pray to reject every form of evil association.
