My Month Of Improvement ! Ho14:5

Who among us doesn’t like to be in front of a delicious dish?
Who among us can resist a delicious smell?
What is certain, each of us will give the impression if we were asked the question of being insensitive, indifferent or disinterested.
But great things are managed around a dish,
The big decisions take place around food.
In all of our happy or unhappy events, we need to simmer our little foods.
No matter how we behave, we all melt when our palets are going to receive flavors.
The problem is not loving what is good but the way we behave in front of a well-set table.
Many have left their lives there, their destinies.
Many have abandoned their stars and their graces there,
Several lost their grip and their strength there.
Many offered their birthright there because of famine and poverty.
But this morning, it is not in this debate that we are going to draw concerning food.
Here is our attached text
1 Corinthians, 8: 8 – It is not food that brings us closer to God: if we eat of it, we have nothing more; if we don’t eat it, we have nothing less.
Reconsider your attitude towards food.
The Corinthes were concerned with whether or not the meat they ate came from the sacrifices made to idols.
Nothing was clear in their minds regarding this subject, some were not free after their conversion to consume the sacrificed meats because of their conscience, and for others, they felt the right to eat them.
The truth is, whether or not eating certain foods does not bring us closer to God.
It all depends on our spiritual knowledge, so let’s not confront each other and that’s what the Corinthes refused to accept.
And that’s how we do, we intimidate, influence weak brethren to sin.
A brother who considers it a sin to go and eat meals with our other brothers feels pushed, encouraged to do what his conscience forbids him,
Paul asks us to be careful to train the weakest to sin otherwise we are irresponsible, guilty.
Food should not make us lose our salvation.
The Corinthes lacked brotherly love, Paul exhorts them to let themselves be touched by the Spirit of God and that their hearts be more open to give love to their brothers.
Like the Corinthes, we are convinced that we have a lot of knowledge even to judge, to look down on others, to despise the weak.
We think we have more rights than others, but be careful not to be an occasion for our brothers to fall for things that are secondary.
Paul here opposes knowledge and love in dealing with God.
For him, it is worth refraining from meals that can cause the relapse of a brother in the past.
Let’s review the way we behave and all look to the love of the Lord.
Hello family
Have a good day
