Who among us has not known a person who behaves differently from what we think?
Who does not have actors who play several roles in their address book?
Who hasn’t felt disappointed when they found out that their relationship was pretending to be something it isn’t?
We are surrounded by people who wear masks all the time.
It’s not just other people’s problem, it’s ours too, we are all people with make-up.
And the bible says it’s a sin.
Hypocrisy is honoring a person, appreciating them by mouth, but the heart is not in agreement.
When the Lord wants to expose a plague, he is not only addressed to the unbelievers but also to those who think they are better than others, to those who confess God, to those who have faith and claim to know God and to walk with him. .
The hypocrites are going to have a church life and a life in the world, they know how to play the double game and are professionals at it.
They know how to disguise their feelings, their thoughts, their attitude …
Jesus took over the Pharisees who walk around in long robes and say long prayers, want the top spots and claim to be saints.
The Bible tells us that Judah, a disciple of Jesus, shared his table, kissed him and betrayed him.
How many times have we met a person on the street and kissed him yet we hate him?
How many times have we cheered on a situation we found disgusting?
How many times have we laughed yet bitterness and grudges are full in our hearts?
We are actors and we have to be careful.
So the Lord reproaches us for the distance that there is between our appearance and our being.
The church can no longer continue in this atmosphere, we must eradicate this problem from among us if we are to serve the God of truth.
Colossians, 3:23 – Whatever you do, do it with a good heart, as for the Lord and not for men,
Pray to divorce with all sorts of hypocrisy.
Let us apply ourselves to our task, be faithful in service, do well the mission that God has entrusted to us and the Lord will reward us.
This verse is short and deep, the more we do everything with good heart for the Lord, the more we remove the risks of compromising ourselves and of pleasing men.
It is a recommendation, there is a source of joy and well-being, it guides us in our actions with others, creates in us the desire to please God.
There is no shortage of opportunities to be of service, especially if we are helpful.
Let’s do good without expecting anything in return, without expecting thanks, recognition, love.
We are very ungrateful, prone to evil and if we do not look to Jesus our hearts will be constantly hurt.
Let us take an interest in others, greet others, the good heart must be our motivation and Jesus our trophy.
Pray this morning to disconnect from appearances,
Let us pray to learn to do good for God and not for men.
Hello family
Have a good day
