Courage is to remain firm, to fear nothing, to strengthen oneself, it is to overcome fear.
Without courage, defeat is inevitable and that is why the Lord motivated Joshua, that is why David constantly encouraged his soldiers.
Every day, we have situations that demolish us, that affect us, that make us feel discouraged and give up.
Without courage, we cannot achieve our goals, difficulties will arise, resistance will appear and if we are not careful, we will lose our faith, our enthusiasm, our joy of living and of serving, our energy, our desire. to move forward.
Without courage, we remain in inertia, in stagnation and the devil will do with us what he wants.
God did not tell us that it would be easy, we can fall, live in battles but do not stop, get up and keep running, we will win.
It is not because our lives are hectic that we must give up, it is not because the enemy camp is agitated and intimidating us that we will lose our strength and retreat.
It is the challenges of life that sometimes make our stories fascinating, our testimonies extraordinary.
Our human eyes are too fixed on our limitations, they easily keep us in prisons.
Let’s not turn in on ourselves, open our hearts and trust in the Lord.
Too many things steal our peace, agitate us but the Lord calls us to remain calm and confident, we are not alone.
Courage does not come from us, it comes from the word of God.
Jesus walked on the waters and his disciples did not dare to experience this glory, they told themselves that they could not otherwise they had to drown, no one took this risk except Peter, he said to himself that ‘he is with Jesus, the one who keeps us and secures us, he asked the Lord to allow him to move forward, he wanted to see the glory of God in his life and Jesus allowed him to walk on the waters as well.
Courage is for those who will see God, those who are willing to make sacrifices for others and defend the word of heaven even when the world has made its laws.
Here we are in the book of Exodus, Moses is on a mission to free the people of Israel from Egypt.
During their outing, they are facing the sea, there are no other exits, you have to go through but how do you do this? the Egyptians are on their heels, they want to kill them.
Faced with this challenge, Moses said in Exodus, 14:13 – Moses answered the people: Do not be afraid, stay still, and look at the deliverance that the Lord will grant you on this day; for the Egyptians that you see today, you will never see them again.
Pray to always exercise courage.
All the people were counting on Moses, everyone was looking at him.
Moses speaks up and tells them not to be afraid, be courageous.
Moses knew that fear could be a brake on the manifestation of the glory of God, he was surely afraid too, but it was not the time, they could not go back, nor step back.
The threat was virulent and Moses asked them to stay put, not to move and especially not to be afraid.
There’s no point in agitating, there’s no point in dispersing us, stay together, the Lord is faithful.
What assurance! What confidence!
Moses knew that God is not limited, he knew that it is not an impossible situation for his God.
It was a delicate, critical situation, everyone would try to do something but God was in control.
Moses knew that unity is strength, gives courage.
Moses makes a promise to them, that of never seeing this men, this country, this problem that kept them in captivity, he tells them that this is the last time, the last image that they will still have of the Egyptians, he promises them divine deliverance, and the Lord of Hosts has made a way.
He manifested in all his glory and the people of Israel had the victory.
Brothers and sisters, let us be courageous, no longer listen to the things that frighten us and take us out of God’s plan.
Let us be zealous, daring, valiant, let us strengthen ourselves.
Nothing should rob us of our peace of mind, nothing should make us doubt the love of God.
Let’s dare, let’s go!
Take courage, friends!
