We are in a period of celebration, it is a time when the gifts are made, it is a time when we have fun with family and friends.
It is a period of celebration and the activities must be extended, our gifts must also go to the needy.
Give without distinction, give without conditions, give without reserve.
The situation we live in,
The pandemic that created our phobia,
The fact that our hands are limited to any action,
The fact that our frames are small has also helped lead us off the path where God was waiting for us.
All of us, even Christians that we are, want to protect ourselves from disease, we have stopped everything for our safety but we have also failed to give love, we have closed ourselves off from the poor and the vulnerable, we have failed to seize opportunities when they needed them most.
And many times, the Bible calls on us not to ignore the poor and to come to their aid.
Who is the poor man?
It is the weak, it is the needy, it is the needy, it is the unhappy, it is the one who does not have Jesus.
It is with compassion that we give, not to be seen and admired.
We are not reaching out to expect something in return, it is a debt we owe God and He will take care of the repayment.
We were sinners, condemned to the curse, God loved us, he gave his only son as a sacrifice, he redeemed us.
Jesus made himself poor so that we could be rich, he bore our infirmities and he became our Savior and Lord.
He is seated at the right hand of the Father; all power has been given to him in heaven and on earth.
Who are we responsible for in our families?
Who do we take care of around us?
Are we sensitive to the poor?
Do we support orphans who do not go to school?
Do we participate in the development of widows?
Are we contributing to the efforts of the weak?
Let us not be in the positions of lack, let us not be Crows, Dorcas, Ezechias who get up without restraint, with energy to make a gesture and give a smile.
God is the one who rewards, when we reach out, God owes us.
And since he is not a liar, he will be the provider to fill our granaries.
Proverbs, 19:17 – He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, who will repay him according to his work.
Be a blessing to someone today.
Let’s not hold back, let’s stand up and bless a brother or sister, have our hands on our hearts.
God is not indifferent when we make ourselves available for the happiness of others.
Hello to us
Good day
