Many of us say we read our Bibles but how many understand it?
The Bible tells us that Jesus himself spoke a lot in parables, he told mysteries that even scared the Pharisees away.
The Lord in all his dimension wants us to understand certain things, he knows that without knowledge, we will always be delivered into the hands of enemies.
Jesus knew that the disciples did not know him, they were always lost when he spoke to the crowd, but one day he took John, Peter and James to the mountain to make them understand the revelation that hides behind the mountain.
The mountain is not just any place, it is a place of retreat, it is a place where we are alone with God.
The Lord was aware that their hearts were ready to discover the hidden things.
The Eternal wanted them to understand that to be apart on the mountain is to draw closer to God, it is to be in intimacy with the Lord, it is to listen to the will of God.
The Lord goes further and makes us understand that those who go to the mountain, there is a power that descends on them.
Besides, we cannot walk into the presence of God and come out the same.
In the mountains, there is always transfiguration, there is a change taking place, the Lord breaks us and removes our excess.
In the mountains, the glory of God shines on our lives, we burn like the sun and we impact our environment.
On the mountain, the Lord removes dirty clothes to cover us with his justice, he sends down on us purity and his light.
Beloved, when we know our Redeemer, when we are in secret, the Lord does not fail to decode his word, he explains all the parables to us, he gives us to understand what others do not understand.
Understanding who God is takes us away from certain problems and opens us to closed doors.
Doesn’t the Bible say that hidden things belong to God and revealed things to men?
When it is revealed and we understand, we can still negotiate and change the situation.
So, we invite ourselves to go into deep water again and again.
Psalms, 119:130 – The revelation of your words enlightens, It gives understanding to the simple.
Pray to understand the revelation of the Lord.
Revelation is the opening, the explanation, the depths of the word of God.
In revelation, God allows himself to be found, he allows us to be able to penetrate his word in all its fullness.
The revelation comes from the word, it gives a superior, supernatural intelligence that we could never have with our diplomas.
If we want the word to be enlightened in our souls, let us ask the Holy Spirit to open our hearts and give us what we need.
hello to us
