My Month Of Acknowledgement! 1Th5:16-18

Father, you have blessed us with all kinds of blessings and we want to be grateful for your hand of life, we want to salute your love and strength greatly.
Thank you for the sluices of heaven that you open,
Thank you for our sky that you open,
Thank you for the favors you grant us,
Thank you for the works of our hands that you multiple.
Lord, teach us to share with others.
Too many things scare us, too many things disturb us, too many manipulations have made us on our guard, we are afraid to reach out to the needy, we believe they are using our gifts to close our finances, we think they are using our gifts to dry our pockets.
And suddenly, we reserved ourselves to support anyhow.
That’s what we think but we can always change the situation and do as God expects of us.
This morning we are going to discover an essential aspect of mercy: *almsgiving*
It may seem simple to give alms, but let’s be careful not to empty this gesture of its blessing.
Almsgiving is a gesture of love towards those we meet, it is a gesture of attention towards those who approach us to ask us for help.
Almsgiving is not limited to giving money but it is also sensitivity, mercy, compassion.
What resistance to give!
Let’s be generous to the poor, the church…
We do not give alms to expect recognition, it is a free impulse that comes from the heart, it is to take care of others, it is not to remain indifferent to the sufferings of others.
Almsgiving is offering a smile, a quality of listening, a little time to those who need it…
Giving to the needy was common among Jews, and that’s what Corneille and Tabitha did, they were always available for others who were in need.
Let’s not forget that each time we show generosity, God undertakes to return it to us, it becomes a debt that he will repay at the right time.
Proverbs 11:25 – The generous soul will be satisfied, and he who waters will himself be watered.
Express your gratitude by practicing alms.
He who does good will never lack, lack will not knock at his door, it will be returned to him in abundance and his days will be satisfied.
We only receive what we have given, it is by making ourselves accessible, generous that we will have our reward and that we will benefit from the best fruits that the Lord promises us.
Let’s put our hands in our pockets, take time for others and let the word of God be carried out by each of us.
hello to us
Have a good day
