We boast of having travelled,
We are proud to have when our children study in Europe,
We feel proud when our appearances reflect attractive clichés in the eyes of the world,
We make so much noise when we want to brandish our diplomas.
For some, being accomplished means being married, having children, a good job and above all financial means.
This is how we maintain our pattern of success.
We have limited our fulfillment to vain things, to ephemeral goods that bring no life.
We have centered success on our possessions, our appearances, our wealth, our standards.
We want others to talk about us and respect us, we expect honors related to our rank, we define success by our notoriety, our relationships, our dating, the women we can have, the power but that’s the way men.
It is the gaze of men who judge in this way.
Many pastors want big churches with thousands of members, they want a lavish church with fulfilling finances, they want to have big cars, big houses and show Egypt that Jesus is winning.
Success is not what our eyes see, it is beyond.
Abraham left his father’s house without knowing where to go.
We surely criticized him and the vagabond treatise.
It is true that he did not know where he was going but the Bible tells us that when he separated from Lot, his nephew.
The Lord told him to lift up his eyes and count the stars of the sky and the sands of the sea, such will be his seed.
We cannot succeed away from the word of God, we cannot make good seeds away from the gospel.
Jesus knew his calling but he had discipline in prayer, meditation and fasting.
To become a great leader, he retired to the mountains to recharge his batteries, to let God fill him, to let God develop his potential, sharpen his gift, strengthen his spirit, increase his saturation, increase his wisdom.
Jesus wanted to be ready, he had no time to waste, he was invested in his calling and he was the greatest impact on earth.
There is a price to pay for success, are we ready to take on the challenge while others sleep?
Proverbs 16:3 – Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
True success is given by the Lord.
Our works are our achievements, our projects, our dreams.
The verse clearly tells us that if we push the Lord out of line, we will be losers yet if we hand over our affairs to the Lord, we will be successful in our endeavors.
hello to us
Have a good day
