The Bible tells us that God is no respect of person.
He makes no difference with his children,
he does not show favoritism,
he is not a judge and a party,
He does not treat anyone according to their sins committed.
His grace is available to all, his favors are available to all, we just have to come back to him to benefit from them.
Let’s look at how Israel behaved with our Lord, how this people was ungrateful, how it was not positioned and without recognition.
Their rebellion saddened the Lord, but the Lord was always there, always ready to respond, always available to reach out.
The Lord is our shepherd, he is a leader, he is responsible, he is a father, he knows how to bear the pain and humiliation of his children.
Despite their behavior towards him, his love is still genuine.
His grace is enough for us.
The God we serve is not influenced by appearance or he would not place Moses as the deliverer.
God chose Moses for a specific mission despite his handicap, he did not look at the fault of the person, he did not dwell on the fact that Moses has difficulty speaking.
Moses was willing and available, his brother Aaron was perhaps complete but it was Moses who was elevated to the rank of God.
David was a rejected, forgotten child and when it was time to anoint the next king of Israel, his father Isai and the prophet Samuel were convinced that the gaze of the Lord could not fall on the psalmist.
All we want to say this morning is that Yaweh knows how to put things in perspective.
And he also invites us to be tolerant and to have an impartial conduct towards others.
The details matter, it is true, but the Lord urges us to understand that in some cases the details mean nothing, just have discernment and be careful with our decisions.
Acts, 10:34 – Then Peter, opening his mouth, said, Verily, I know that God is no respect of persons,
Bless the impartial God!
God gives each of us the opportunity to receive the blessings according to his plans.
Peter acknowledges that believers and sinners are equal before God.
It doesn’t matter our race, our color, our affiliation.
We have to be accepted.
It is the impartiality of God which takes precedence over everything we think.
So let’s celebrate our Father who constantly reframes us and gives us not to fall into judgments.
hello to us
Have a good day
