Oboooooooooooo
The turn here, Lord you have exposed us.
Our mouths that we do not know how to shut,
Our tongues that fester at the slightest opportunity,
Our lips that are always moving to lie, to seduce, to condemn…
What a shame on our part.
We who know spiritual principles,
We who believe in God, are the first to mock.
Father, here we are on our knees, teach us to shut up.
We have gotten into too many fights because of our words,
We have found ourselves in the midst of battles that we have no control over because of the words we have spoken,
We are in a trap because talk is a pebble in our shoe.
It is with our tongues that the doors of blockages are lifted,
It is with our words that the claims and altars of our villages pursue us,
We are tired, O Lord,
we can’t take it anymore, Father,
We have lost much,
We have missed many opportunities,
We have missed out on our blessings that we have failed to frame.
Here Herod, satisfied and happy in the midst of his ceremony, allowed himself to make a promise to a young girl who was wiggling to entertain the crowd.
In his words, he implied that he was ready to do anything for her happiness, even to sacrifice half his kingdom.
This is how the young girl, through her mother, asked for the head of John the Baptist on a platter.
Herod had not foreseen this, he did not want to kill John the Baptist but because of his word, he was forced to do so.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Let’s shut up.
We talk too much.
All so that others can envy us and cheer us on.
The tongue is a double-edged sword,
It blesses, it also curses, so let’s be careful and learn discretion.
Hardly a project is still in embryo, we have already put up the sign,
we are already on the roof,
we’ve already made the bylaws to communicate our state of mind in time and place.
The Lord knows that we have this problem, we don’t know how to keep silent,
we always want to appear and we fall,
we cry,
we stagnate…
Why?
Our mouths!
Proverbs, 17:28 – Even a fool, when he is silent, is considered wise. He who shuts his lips is a wise man.
Learn to shut up!
A fool is one who lacks wisdom, who acts like a fool, without thinking.
The Bible says that when his mouth is shut and he is silent, everyone thinks he has good sense,
everyone thinks he’s right because he doesn’t speak up to show his weakness to people.
To close one’s lips is to have restraint, not to speak in any way,
It means knowing how to place your words and not getting carried away at the slightest opportunity.
In any case, too much talking is a disease.
Let us not be sickly.
We have the seed of Jesus, let’s show it.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
