My Month of Wisdom ! Pr3:13

We make too many decisions in haste,
Often without thinking,
Often without consulting God,
We think we’ve made better choices and then we blur our destinies.
Joseph’s brothers were after him just because he was loved by his father and said he had a glorious future.
This boy’s elders did not understand that if their brother is president, they will enjoy all the benefits that come with their status.
They limited themselves to jealousy, conspiracy and they preferred to see their brother dead than to see him being above them.
These thoughts make us act like fools,
It is these despicable acts that cause us to commit sin.
None of the children of Jacob thought of their Father’s pain, none wondered as a child of God that the Lord could avenge this attitude.
These plots we make without measuring the damage, just to satisfy our pride.
Also, Saul lost the kingship because he thought that he was the king of Israel, he had the right to do and say anything.
For him, he was the all-powerful, his throne was secure and nothing could destabilise him.
And the mistake in his posture as all-powerful was to make the sacrifice instead of the priest.
He got tired of waiting and gave in to his pretence.
Being wise is a quality,
Being wise is a grace,
Wisdom is a blessing,
Wisdom is divine.
It is God-given.
And that is what he wants to give us this morning,
He wants to give us discernment,
He wants to give us the potential to negotiate our lives well.
Wisdom is not acquired,
it is desired,
it is evolutionary,
It is concrete,
So let us know that it is God’s promise to each of us,
Let us desire it and pray that the Lord will fill us with this gift.
If we lack common sense, we are fools,
If we lack foresight, we’re in trouble.
If the Lord in all his glory is relevant, we must be too.
But it is up to us to dispose ourselves.
James, 1:5 – If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all simply and without blame, and it will be given to him.
The Lord desires to give you wisdom.
It is not parents or diplomas that guarantee wisdom, it is Yaweh who has given it, but only we have to ask Him.
He is not here to criticize us, nor to judge us, He just wants to do us good and help us to know right from wrong.
Lord, allow us to connect to the good frequency that you are to tap into the wisdom you have in store for us.
