My Month Of Possession! Job42:12

Let’s not think that we can only be intimate with a friend or a husband.
It’s easy for us to get together to share a secret,
celebrate in private or plan in private.
We’re more comfortable with men because we can see them,
we can interpret their body language,
we are more convinced,
more reassured because we have a phone number or we know where they live.
To be intimate with someone
means getting to know them,
it means having information about them that others don’t know,
it’s experiencing the other person’s daily life.
It’s more than just a friendship.
What we want to say to each other this morning is that in the same way that we give of ourselves to maintain a relationship,
we can also make an effort to keep in constant contact with God.
Yes, with God…
It’s something we overlook, but it’s worth more than gold if we get it right.
When we are constantly with the Lord,
we want him to know everything about us,
we ask his opinion at every turn because we know that his opinion changes everything,
we trust him and are at peace in his presence.
Intimacy with God is a source of power.
The more we commune with him
the more like him we are
the more we behave like him.
The Lord wants to reveal himself to us
so that we know him in a new light.
We don’t have a relationship with God just to find out what our calling is,
or how many children he will give us.
We need to be thirsty for him,
to discover him, to experience him.
John 17:3 – But eternal life is that they know you, the only true God, and him whom you have sent, Jesus Christ.
Pray for more intimacy with the Lord your God.
Knowing God is eternal life.
It is the guarantee that by walking in the footsteps of the Lord
the kingdom of God will be assured.
If we believe in God, we also believe in the Son from whom we have salvation.
