My Month Of Consecration! Ps119:10

We bless your name again this morning Yaweh, you give us another week,
you still surround us with your love,
your protection is permanent in our lives at every moment and we give you all the glory.
To introduce us to this weekly journey, you have found it wise to exhort us to spiritual growth.
We need to grow in our knowledge of God, whom we love to serve, by listening to the word of God.
The Samaritan woman was prejudiced against the Jews and did not believe in Jesus.
Like this woman, many of us are ignorant; we want to get closer to God without knowing him,
How can we benefit fully from this God if we don’t know how to attract his attention?
To know God is to love him.
Knowing God is a favour, a blessing.
Darkness works to prevent us from moving towards a deep and authentic knowledge of God. The devil knows that to keep us in ignorance is to keep us from God.
When we have the knowledge of who God is and what he is able to do, we no longer function like everyone else.
This knowledge gives us peace and the strength to continue to follow him.
It doesn’t take us out of difficulties, but it reassures us of God’s presence and intervention in our difficulties.
To have spiritual knowledge is to have the ability to change our destiny.
The more we have a relationship with God, the more we will discover the wonders of God’s love.
The more we cling to the Lord, the more we learn to dwell in his presence.
Lack of knowledge keeps us in mediocrity and lowliness, prevents us from living in the image of God, it prevents us from experiencing the advantages of the heirs of the kingdom.
Peter ends his epistle with words that are like his last wish.
And we know how important it is to preserve the words of a loved one in the evening of their life.
These words are indelible in our memory.
Peter himself realised how necessary and valuable these words were before he could advise them himself.
2 Peter, 3:18 – But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory, now and for ever! Amen!
Pray to grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Peter warns us against ignorance.
He encourages us to grow by digging deep into God’s word so that you can set your life on solid ground.
It is by doing this that we will be safe from false doctrines.
So, let us go towards knowledge and let us have a spirit of prayer.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
