My Month Of Mercy! Lc1:50

There are no half measures.
Victory belongs to Jesus.
Let’s make them up as we like, if the Lord doesn’t strike down the force that holds us captive,
we will always be sensitive, weak, vulnerable.
We can appear stable in front of people, we can pretend to be in control of the situation, but the devil has no respect for anyone,
as he doesn’t know how to honour the influential and the capable,
disgrace will always follow.
It is better for each of us to go and touch ourselves at the feet of Jesus to implore his mercy for our vices.
The sins that stoop us,
The weaknesses that humble us,
The inabilities that weaken us…
The secrets we work to paint,
the faults we hide so as not to be judged,
the crimes we keep silent but which haunt us,
the failings that expose us.
This is the month of mercy, so let’s not leave this season without benefiting from Yaweh’s love and forgiveness.
Judah had a problem with fornication, he loved women, it was his flaw.
He didn’t know how to control himself,
sexual immorality was genetic in his family and he didn’t deal with his demon.
So Judah took Tamar as wife for his son Er, who was wicked in the eyes of the Lord.
The Lord put him to death.
Judah gave his second son Onan to his beautiful daughter so that they could produce offspring for his son Er.
Knowing that this offspring would not be for him, he lost his seed on the ground when he had to have relations with his sister-in-law so as not to give offspring to his brother.
What he was doing displeased the Lord, who also put him to death.
Judah promised his last to Tamar when he grew up, but in his mind he wanted to preserve his son’s life.
After the death of Judah’s wife, he was consoled and after a while he went up to Timnah to the shearers.
Knowing that her father-in-law was going, Thamar took off her widow’s clothes, covered herself with a veil and wrapped herself up.
Thamar had realised that Judah would not give her his last, so Judah took her for a prostitute and left a pledge.
Except that Thamar became pregnant and Judah, very angry with his beautiful daughter, wanted to have her killed.
This is how Thamar exposed the pledge and Judah realised that he was the one responsible.
All this to talk about the sins that we maintain and that dominate us.
So this morning, we are going to beg the Lord for his mercy,
we’re going to cry out to the Father to forgive us our trespasses.
Proverbs, 28:13 – He who hides his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
Fast and pray for victory over the sins you are entertaining.
The moment we begin to cover our dirt, we lose our authority, we cannot blossom because our thoughts are in bondage.
But when we confess our traumas in public, even the devil loses his influence over us and we are ready to receive the Lord’s grace and forgiveness, which restores our confidence.
So let us know that it is God who is above what we can think or imagine.
Good day to you all
