My Month Of Prosperity! 3Jn1:2

This is our last day of the month of prosperity, and we are blessed to be counted among the privileged,
we are grateful to the Lord for gracing us with his love and life.
Entering a season and emerging from it is a miracle that only God has the mystery of.
So, as we turn the page, the Lord has given us one last piece of advice for the road ahead.
He knows that as human beings we like to please and be liked, but what interests Yaweh is not what we do to attract the attention of others but rather what we do to please God.
Many of us will say that taking the time to read and put God’s word into practice is a way of pleasing the Lord.
Others will talk about their donations to the poor and still others will say that they go to church regularly.
Beloved, pleasing God is not carnal,
pleasing God goes beyond appearances,
it’s a sweet-smelling offering, it’s a sacrifice.
To please the Lord is to have a special connection with him,
it means accepting to die, it means silencing your own will to let God’s take precedence.
Jesus had a mission to accomplish, it was difficult as a man, but he cried out to the Lord for the strength to continue in order to please the one who sent him.
Living to please men will keep us in a state of slavery, whereas with Jesus, we are truly free.
Abraham, in order to please the Lord, left his homeland and his country for an unknown place; he was even prepared to give up his only son to please the Lord.
David knew how to humble himself before his God after a sin,
he knew how to abandon himself at the feet of the Lord,
he knew that only God’s presence was the solution to all kinds of problems,
so he was prepared to leave everything behind so that his God would be pleased.
He knew how to open his heart to the Lord.
So brothers and sisters, pleasing the Lord means turning our eyes away from the vain things and worries of this world to let only Jesus reign.
Psalms, 37:4 – Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you what your heart desires.
Pray that you may always seek to please the Lord.
A delight is a favourite, well-seasoned dish.
The presence of God, Christ, can be our delight,
When the word of God is a delight in our lives, the desire of our hearts changes.
The Lord wants our hearts whole,
a grateful heart that is only satisfied in him.
Instead of seeking external pleasures, let’s stay with God and drink from the fountain he presents to us.
He can do more for us than all our earthly friends.
We can just decide that Jesus is not a bland meal but rather a delight that we enjoy.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
