My Month Of Delivrance! Rom10:13

We all need deliverance.
At every level, the Lord must revisit our breaches.
Many people think that because they have confessed Christ, they no longer need to watch over their walk; others think that grace is enough, so recreation is permanent.
Beloved, when the Lord meets us, we must draw closer to him every day, so that blindness may depart from us.
The Bible tells us a story that will help us to understand that each of us must identify our problem so that the Lord can deliver us.
They came to Jericho. When Jesus came out with his disciples and a fairly large crowd, Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the roadside.
When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, “Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me!
Many rebuked him to keep him quiet, but he cried out much louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!
Jesus stopped and said, “Call him. They called to the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer, get up; he is calling you.
The blind man threw off his cloak, jumped up, and came to Jesus.
Jesus answered him, “What do you want me to do to you? Rabboni,” said the blind man, “that I may receive my sight.
Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has saved you.
Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus along the road.
Behold, a man who had been held captive since birth because of his name.
He certainly did everything he could to get out of this prison, but he couldn’t.
And he realised that he needed help, that an authoritative voice had to free him from his chains.
When he had the revelation, the word, the knowledge, he didn’t let Jesus go through him.
He didn’t have his eyes, but he had his mouth and he cried out for help to the Lord who had come.
What interests us this morning is Jesus’ question.
What do we want Jesus to do for us?
What do we want Jesus to give us?
What do we expect from the Lord in this season?
Many don’t know what they really need.
Many are confused because they are distracted by the seductions of the world and fail to take advantage of the opportunities the Lord offers them.
Bartimaeus did not go into explanations, he was concise and precise.
Lord, open our eyes.
One point, one stroke.
And instantly, Jesus released his deliverance because he called on God, he called on the Lord and he believed.
We also need to know that Bartimaeus didn’t stop there, he followed Jesus.
Why did he do this?
He knew that the Spirit of God was not dwelling in him,
if spiritual nourishment did not strengthen him,
so he chose to cling to the Lord and trust him.
Galatians, 5:1 – For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not let yourselves be yoked together again.
Fast and pray to maintain your delivrance.
Jesus came so that we could enjoy freedom and inner peace.
We all long for freedom, and it is no longer up to the devil to enslave us.
Our Lord paid the price with his life so that we could be truly free.
Let us be encouraged,
Let us be strengthened so that we do not return to the mire, so that we do not let the devil disrupt our new birth and our covenant with the Lord.
Each of us must protect this gift of freedom that the Lord has carefully bequeathed to us.
