My Month Of Strengthening! Ps125:1

Beloved, the only way to rid ourselves of the sin that dominates us is the word of God.
As long as we do not take it seriously,
we don’t know it because we don’t read it.
It’s a matter of time, the enemy is always waiting for us at the crossroads.
So today, the Lord is asking us to remain firm in his word,
to spend time in his presence,
to establish his word in our hearts and let it communicate with our spirit.
We cannot become spiritually stable by being distracted all day long or by focusing on the things that are fleeting.
It is by submitting to the Lord, by subduing our flesh, that we will come closer to the throne of grace.
Every time sin has taken root in our lives,
we have given it space,
we have allowed it to destroy us,
we have tolerated it.
Here is God’s word for this morning.
Psalms, 119:133 – Strengthen my steps in your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
Pray to be strengthened in God’s word.
*To strengthen is to make strong.
*Iniquity*: it is a state of mind, it is taking pleasure in a sin, it is having difficulty getting rid of a sin.
The secret of our deliverance lies in God’s word.
In this verse, David asks the Lord to make his walk with him solid.
The psalmist is not asking the Lord to strengthen his kingdom or his works, but rather his steps.
He is very fussy in his request because he knows that holiness is his guarantee.
Let us watch over our steps, let us be vigilant so that we are not deprived of the glory of God.
Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with a new fire for his word, so that the devil will stay away from us.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
