My Month Of Strengthening! Ps125:1

God’s word casts out fear and gives us determination.
Joshua was God’s choice to lead the people into the promised land, but he needed to be strengthened to carry out the mission.
Like Joshua, we need to draw strength from the God we trust and believe in.
Let’s stop looking at the mountain that seems very high and the challenge that is great, and fix our gaze on our Dad who always enables us to achieve the impossible.
We who are afraid to open our mouths to evangelise,
we who tremble every time we have to reveal our spiritual identity to others.
Let’s remember that the Lord doesn’t need us to be heroes, he just wants faithful hearts.
God is bigger than we think.
So when he talks to us about strengthening and courage, it’s not advice or an option, it’s a command from on high.
He wants us to be more courageous, stronger, bolder…
*No one will stand before you as long as you live. I will be with you as I was with Moses; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
*Be strong and of good courage, for it is you who will give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
*Only be strong and of good courage, that you may do according to all the law which my servant Moses commanded you, and not turn aside to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper in all that you do.
*Let not this book of the law depart from thy mouth: meditate on it day and night, that thou mayest do according to all that is written therein: for then shalt thou prosper in thy work, and then shalt thou prosper.
*Have I not commanded you to be strong and of good courage? Dont be afraid and dont be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you in everything you do.
To have victory, we must be fixed in the word of God; our enemies will not stand before us because we are built on rock.
Colossians, 2:7 – being rooted and grounded in him, and strengthened by faith, according to the instructions given to you, and abounding in thanksgiving.
Pray for a strengthening of your faith in this new year 2025.
*Rooted* evokes the tree and the roots that nourish it.
When we have roots, we are stable, deep and balanced.
Without roots, there’s no life, we’re carried on the wind.
You need a fluid, secure connection between the tree and its roots to hold on.
Grounded refers to building a house.
Let’s build our houses on our Jesus.
Being founded on Christ means responding to God’s call, trusting him and putting God’s word into practice.
Established refers to spiritual growth and strength.
Spiritual maturity is built on the foundations of biblical truth.
This is why we must walk with the Lord,
seek to be like him,
live like him and that’s how we’ll be attached to him.
