My Month Of Strengthening! Ps125:1

When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over Israel, they all went up to look for him. When David heard of it, he went down to the fortress.
The Philistines came and spread out over the valley of Rephaim.
David asked The LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand? The LORD said to David, Go up; for I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.
So David came to Baal-perazim, and defeated them there. Then he said, The LORD has scattered my enemies before me like flowing waters. That is why the name of the place is Baal Perazim.
Beloved, if we want to have victory over our enemies
we must learn to trust in the Lord.
Confidence does not come from our experiences or our position,
it comes from the Lord.
It is he who guides us and directs our decisions.
The Lord always holds the hand of the righteous,
He cares for them and always shows them the way.
His presence is certain.
David was faced with a situation,
he didn’t think that he was capable of striking the Philistines,
he didn’t think that his army was more numerous and more powerful than that of his adversary.
The first thing he did was to consult God,
to reassure himself that the Lord was in agreement with him in this battle.
When we rely on God, when we are in communion with him, even when we encounter difficulties,
we know that we are not alone and that his love for us is our strength.
Our instruction this morning: pray that your steps will be strengthened by the Lord in 2025.
Psalms, 37:23 – The Lord strengthens man`s steps, And delights in his way;
That our steps may be established by the Lord,
we must submit to his will,
we must depend on him,
we must let him be the good shepherd in our lives.
Then we will be at peace and the Lord will enjoy walking with us.
In this year, let’s let the Lord show us the way. We don’t know the road and we’ve been going round in circles for a long time.
Father, we are ready to follow you.
