My Month Of Solidarity! Phil2:4

We cannot idealise the early church, but we can salute it.
In Acts 4, it is written:
The multitude of those who believed were one heart and one soul. No one claimed that his possessions were his own, but everything was common to them.
The apostles testified with great power to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace rested on them all.
For there was no one among them who was destitute. All who owned fields or houses sold them and brought the price of what they had sold,
They distributed to everyone according to his need.
These verses speak to us of unity, sharing, love and solidarity.
This unity was the product of the Holy Spirit; it was a spiritual atmosphere that helped the members to live in the truth.
This is also why Sapphira and Ananias were struck down, they tried to falsify the work of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the church.
God wants us to be one in the body of Christ,
he wants our service to him to be complete and unselfish.
Over time, we have lost many of our qualities,
we no longer know how to commune together, we no longer know how to do good,
we no longer know how to love, and even fraternal harmony has taken a big hit.
We live in a world where everyone is on their guard,
mistrust is intense, we can no longer trust each other.
We say we walk with the Lord, but we don’t agree.
Each has his own spiritual method, the other has his own divine approach and some have their own beliefs.
It is no longer a scandal to stab and humiliate your brother.
It’s as if we’re in a war where anything goes…
Disappointment, betrayal, criticism… have become the daily reality of fraternal communion.
We are competitors, enemies, adversaries…
Competition between churches, couples, pastors, singers… And yet we claim to be fighting for the same cause, we claim to belong to the same team, the same body.
Here is the Lord’s instruction for this day:
Pray against every spirit of division in the body of Christ.
1 Corinthians, 1:10 – I urge you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same language and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in the same spirit and in the same mind.
Division is not God’s will,
He recommends understanding and love.
Let us not miss out on heaven because we have ignored the Lord’s instructions.
We must do our part and there is no need to compare ourselves or make comparisons.
Let’s just know that what we accomplish is God’s grace and we must never stop being grateful for it.
So why do we look down on others?
In a word: let’s love each other and get along.
May the Lord bless us
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
