My Month Of Recovery! Ps3:3

Many of us believe that because we have confessed Christ, we have nothing more to do.
Many think that because we are in church, we would have no more challenges.
The truth is that we want to be called children of God but we don’t want to read our Bibles,
we don’t want to pray,
we don’t want to walk according to God’s instructions.
We no longer want to be involved in God’s work,
we have lost our zeal and our boldness.
Many of us refuse to respond to the call; sometimes we are even spiritually inactive.
To be asleep is to neglect our spiritual commitment.
To be asleep is not just to have your eyes closed,
it’s being insensitive, blind, unaware of the spirit.
To be asleep is to lose interest in reality,
it means letting illusions dominate us.
A Christian who is asleep lives a lie,
He makes believe that he is committed and ready to follow the Lord, but this is only an impression.
A sleeping Christian is confused, indecisive, unstable and unfaithful.
The time for revival has come, let us not harden our hearts, let us strip ourselves of the works of darkness, let us put on the weapons of light.
Fast and pray that you will not be a sleeping Christian.
Ephesians, 5:14 – Therefore it is said, “Awake, you who are asleep, and rise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.
Paul emphasises this injunction because we are in danger of falling asleep, so let’s be careful.
This verse is a call to us in our relationship with the Lord.
To wake up means to walk from now on as a child of light.
To wake up is to abandon sin and embrace a new life in God,
Waking up means becoming aware of your spiritual state and getting up to live a new life in Christ.
Waking up and rising again refer to the resurrection.
The passage tells us about our encounter with Christ, who radically changes our lives and calls us to live a healthy life.
Let the Holy Spirit show us those things that we have allowed into our lives but which have no place in them.
Those things that put us to sleep and keep us awake.
Let us allow the Lord to refresh us and regenerate our spirit.
Good morning to you all
Good day to you all
