My Month Of Probity ! Ro13:13

We are surprised that the Christian life is a burden for many, we sometimes wonder how some Christians lead a life of zeal, energetic when others are sterile, lifeless.
Where did our first love go?
Where do we find the heart filled with the courage and love that we had at our conversion?
We have long accused others of being inert yet we are like them, we do nothing to get out of our heaviness.
How many Christians do not read their Bibles?
How many children of God have lost the practice of their faith and strayed from their destiny?
How many have neglected to walk by faith and have come back to square one?
How many has backslid, embittered, everywhere saying that they’ve been in the faith since then, and bear no fruit?
How many are those Pharisees who spend most of their time constantly murmuring and slandering.
We have to have spiritual ambition as the born again, we have to aspire to be role models, stop being content with a light life yet Jesus went to the cross for our redemption.
The word of God is life, it is the truth.
The word of God is alive.
It is the Lord that we must listen to and obey, it is the word of God that helps us plan our lives.
This isn’t to say it’s easy, no.
At some point, we will be weary and tired, only Jesus sets us free.
Let’s stop playing with the word, taking it with carelessness and lightness,
Hold firm in our hearts,
In James 1:25 – But he who gazes into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, not being a forgetful hearer, but putting himself to work, he will be happy in his activity.
Pray not to be a forgetful listener of the word of God.
* To look into * means to consider attentively, it is to examine with care, it is to probe, to meditate.
It is not to read the word superficially, but to do serious and thorough research.
The word of God allows us to see ourselves as God sees us, it allows us to know God’s promises to us, it reveals our weaknesses and imperfections not to make us feel guilty but to encourage us to be like the father. .
The word of God sets us free.
The perfect law is the law of freedom.
It is by reading the word of God, by focusing on it, that we will discover that salvation is free, it is the gift of God offered in sacrifice.
The word of God is a mirror and the bible tells us that if we listen to the word of God, we must put it into practice otherwise there is no point in looking at ourselves without a mirror and forgetting who we are afterwards.
The text which concerns us this morning is a warning to all those who are neglectful.
Let’s take God’s promises seriously, believe his word, meditate on it over and over, day and night.
Let’s not just listen to the teachings, deceive ourselves with false reasoning, let the revelation of God sit in our hearts and transform us.
Hello everyone
Have a good day
